Lock On Teams

When deployed to a large protest, one of our eagle eyed directors reacted to a Vehicle Borne Lock On, prior to it being used. He spotted the vehicle acting in a suspicious manner and when a female occupant alighted from the passenger seat, he and two of the team reacted to get to her before she had chance to get under the vehicle and utilise the built in lock on device.

As a result, the road was closed for 5 mins while the driver was removed instead of a closure of hours whilst the locked on person was removed.

Working for a major international manufacturer in the UK with the advent of protests in 2018/19 aimed at climate change and targeting individuals or companies who utilise meat and meat products, we carried out a full internal review of our security procedure and policy and found ourselves very lacking in that department. We utilised Evolve to test our pass and entry procedures and to give advice in response to protest activity and how we could best plan to avoid negative press and the impact of a protest shutting down our facilities.
